(A DUF can't be seen if it's in the Poser section. You'll need to apply the textures manually, then save as a Materials Preset in the Studio files section if you want to make a clickable preset. The texture won't apply by clicking for Albane, because all of his presets are designed for the M4 Gens, which has different surface areas. But I downloaded the remap mentioned in this thread, got it installed correctly but the texture still won't apply by clicking it, so I have to figure out where to put in all the different maps. Last time I used him I was actually using M4 I think. I had been trying to use RAW's Prince Albane. I guess I missremembered what I had used before. Sorry it took me so long to reply I got busy and not much time at the moment but figured I would explain a bit.
OH, one other thing: here's a set of UVMaps Seam Guides that show how four different UV sets line up with the Genesis Male Genitalia default set: Replace all the textures with the correct textures. Go back to the materials on the genetalia and paste. Then go back to the hip material on your figure. DAZ Studio Defaults are found under DS Defaults and the correct shader is DZDefault. Human Surface and UberSurface are found under Omnifreaker. You'll find those under your Shaders Tab. The very first thing you must do is match that shader. You'll see DAZ Studio Default, UberSurface or Human Surface up there. select the hip surface, and look at the top. Okay, goto your Genesis Figure, select the figure, goto the surfaces tab.
Problem is no matter which texture I use none of them apply, I can apply them in the surfaces tab and the texture will apply that way but it does not line up and the colors are all wrong because I think there is a shader present and I have no clue how to set that up. I am pretty sure that there is at least genesis male and M4 and M5. This is in contrast to the female version, which shares a texture with the Genesis 'hip' and consequently can simply use existing textures.
You cannot, for example, apply a Michael 4 body texture, since the graft itself has geometry unique to it. With that in mind, note that the male genitals should also have their own unique material presets.
However, an incorrect UV set wouldn't stop the texture from appearing on the model, it would simply appear incorrect or mismatched, so I don't believe this is the issue in your case. I believe the male genitals use the M4 maps, hence the reason it is just listed as 'default', since it only uses one set of UVs. Genesis has all the normal uv options listed but the genitalia don't have anything but default which is not how it was last time I used it. Yeah it is the male version and I am sure it is selected properly.
Have you ensured you're clicking the right icons and that you have the geograft selected when you apply it? By default, clicking the character often selects Genesis rather than the prop, so you might need to manually select it from the scene tab or the drop down in the parameters tab. I'm going to assume you're referring to the male version. I am pretty sure it is not the textures because none of them work. I have reinstalled the equipment in question but is is still borked. And when I go to check the uv map that it is using to make sure the box says default with no other options. I am trying to apply a texture but when I double click the texture nothing happens.
